H. H. Taklung Kyabgon Tsetrul Thupaten Gyaltsen Rinpoche is the Supreme Holder of Knowledge and the Dharma King of the Drak Dorje Monastery, one of the six main Nyingma Monasteries, founded in 1610 by Rigdzin Ngakgi (Aji) Wangpo (1580-1639). The terma teachings of Guru Padmasambhava discovered by Rigdzin Godem in 1366 have been treasured up in this monastery since then. Monastery in exile is found in town Simla in north west India.
He is often invited to teach and give transmissions in the most important Dharma Centers in India, Nepal and Bhutan. Many practitioners from various schools come to receive his transmission, since he is considered to be the Master of Rime, whose realization, wisdom and spiritual qualifications transcend the limitation of the diverse schools and their differences
